Master Tung's Acupuncture
A Legacy of Healing
Master Tung's Acupuncture is a time-honored treatment method developed by the renowned Master Tung Ching Chang and passed down through generations. Master Tung was born on May 23, 1916, in Ping Du City, Shandong Province, East China. He started learning the art of acupuncture from his father at a young age, continuing a family tradition that stretches back to the Han Dynasty (206 BC—220 AD).

A Life of Unwavering Dedication to Healing: Master Tung, a beacon of resilience, opened his first clinic at the tender age of 18. Undeterred by the Sino-Japanese War and the Chinese Civil War, he treated patients. After retreating to Taiwan in 1949, he established a clinic in Taipei, where he selflessly treated over 400,000 patients, often for free. Master Tung's kindness and exceptional skill earned him the honorary title of 'Representative of Good People and Good Deeds' five times, a testament to his unwavering dedication to healing.
Unveiling the Uniqueness: Master Tung's Acupuncture is not just a treatment method; it's a marvel. Renowned for its unique points and diagnostic methods, it boasts 740 Master Tung's points on various body parts, including the hands, arms, feet, ears, head, and face. These points, with their immediate and profound therapeutic results, have the power to treat a wide range of ailments, from pain and neurological issues to chronic conditions, leaving no room for doubt about their effectiveness.
Teaching and LegacyIn response to Chiang Kai-shek's call to preserve Chinese culture, Master Tung began teaching his family acupuncture techniques in 1962. Despite his traditional and observational teaching methods, Master Tung's students, including Hu Wen Zi, have documented and disseminated his techniques worldwide. Master Tung published several significant works, the most notable being "Studying the Special Points of the Main Channels of Tung Family Acupuncture and Moxa" in 1973.
